Our Founder and CEO, Michelle Strasburger

Michelle Strasburger is an accomplished HR executive and thought leader with more than two decades of experience transforming human resources in the technology sector. As the founder and CEO of HR Rebooted, she is redefining how organizations prepare for the AI era by empowering HR leaders to take the lead in AI governance, compliance, and workforce readiness.

Michelle’s approach blends business strategy, human-centered leadership, and AI innovation. As a strategic advisor, she helps CEOs realign leadership behaviors, strengthen trust, and uncover the root causes of cultural dysfunction that hinder performance and growth. A pioneer in AI adoption, she recognized early the technology’s dual power to enhance productivity and disrupt traditional workforce models, shaping her belief that HR must lead this evolution to ensure both ethical and effective outcomes.

She has served as a strategic business partner to organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500s, guiding initiatives in workforce planning, recruitment, culture transformation, and organizational design. Michelle holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and a B.S. in Business Administration and International Business. Michelle also holds SPHR, GPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.

Recognized as one of Mogul’s Top 100 CHROs in 2023, Michelle is also a Board Member of HumanResources.Pro, an Advisor at Writing.io, from where she holds an AI certificate, and a Principal People Experience Advisor at Intramark^. She is the founder and facilitator of HR Rebels, a global community of over 1,500 HR professionals dedicated to challenging conventional HR norms and shaping the future of work.

Michelle and her husband Jon live in New Hampshire with their two sons. They enjoy all the outdoor activities in the great north woods including snowmobiling, ATV riding, hiking, and watching the boys enjoy snowboarding.

Kelly Cunningham, Chief Operating Officer

Kelly Cunningham is a seasoned technology leader and software engineer with over 30 years of experience guiding high-performing teams in software design, engineering, and innovation. His career blends executive leadership with deep technical expertise, delivering complex systems that meet demanding performance and business goals.

As Vice President of Engineering at TotalView Technologies, Kelly led development of award-winning high-performance computing tools used on some of the world’s fastest supercomputers. At Fast Search and Transfer (FAST), he directed a 120-person global engineering organization that transformed the company from an R&D lab into an enterprise software provider generating $26 million in its first year.

He has also led major technology initiatives at Information Resources, Boston Technology, and Kronos. As Chief Operating Officer at HR Rebooted, Kelly drives the design and development of the company’s Governance 1st platform, advancing AI governance and compliance innovation for the modern workplace.

When he's not busy coding, you'll find Kelly writing a book or working on his farm.

Rachel Weeks, Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer at HR Rebooted, Rachel leads brand strategy and go-to-market initiatives that position HR professionals at the forefront of AI governance, compliance, and risk management.

With more than two decades of experience driving growth for HR technology companies including MP: Wired for HR, Reward Gateway, and HealthcareSource, she has led transformational initiatives resulting in record-setting revenue growth and multiple private-equity exits. A champion of values-driven culture, Rachel is passionate about the intersection of people, performance, and technology, and helping organizations embrace innovation responsibly and effectively.

Rachel serves on multiple marketing advisory boards and is an active mentor dedicated to developing the next generation of marketing leaders. When she's not working, you'll find her at the baseball field cheering for her son, at the yoga studio, dining out, or traveling.
